Yes, I know it doesn’t really work, but after all the celebrations of the weekend my poor brain was a bit weary! We’ve got so many wonderful kaftans/wafters available at the moment which make the perfect wardrobe staple on a hot day or a glamorous cover up on holiday – channel your inner Joan Collins, pop on your sunnies and a hat with a large brim and you’re good to go!
Kaftans or Muumuus are one of the most versatile and comfortable items you can have in your wardrobe and if you have a kaftan you’ll have an outfit for any occasion, especially when you’re on holiday! Loose fitting and free flowing means they are perfect for beating the Summer heat and shielding you from the sun. Worn with sparkly flip flops and oversized sunglasses adds that touch of glamour and makes them great for lunches out or poolside drinks. Change into a small wedge heel and a chunky necklace and you’re set for a casual evening out.
The key to taking your favourite kaftan from day to evening is all down to accessories. Finally, pop a kaftan over cropped narrow trousers and off to the local market or sightseeing you go!
And you’ve always got something quick and easy to throw on when the postman knocks unexpectedly! There aren’t many pieces in our wardrobes that can work as hard as a kaftan!
