Long live linen!
Well, it’s the Marmite of fabrics, but I’m a lover…of Marmite AND linen!
It’s all the c’s; cool, crisp, comfy, chic and classy! And whilst I realise that many of you shy away from linens because of the inevitable ironing, nothing beats putting on fresh linen on a hot day.
We have some truly divine new linens and linen mixes in store, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the sun…which is finally here! All together now… HALLELUJAH!
Bear in mind, patterned linens are always easier on the crease front, and linen mixes are also fabulous as you get all of the cool with none of the perceived problems 😊
Pick your faves, but be warned, some of these are very low in stock.

Lastly, before I go this week, I have sad (for me) but exciting (for Cathy) news to tell you.
After nearly 20 years working at Bakou, Cathy is taking her well earned retirement. Cath and I have actually worked together for over 25 years as we worked at the same company in our previous lives as well. It’s going to be tough without her I must admit.
She’s been my ‘right hand woman’ pretty much from the very start of this retail journey and has kept me in line all this time. She’s the calm, organised one while I run around in a tailspin! It’s going to be interesting without her to keep me in check!
I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for everything she’s done for me and wish her and her lovely hubby, Martin, a very happy retirement and well deserved rest! I am sure that many of you will miss her as well, but will join me in wishing her every happiness in whatever adventures lie ahead for both of them.
Until next time..
Stay safe and well ladies.
