Pots of gold…and green!
Happy St Patrick’s Day…
…to anyone who is celebrating! It’s a strange thing how, of all the Saints days, this is the one most people seem to warm to the most. I guess it might be something to do with the Guinness? I once had a very ‘interesting’ St Patrick’s Day in Chicago. I was 26. It’s a long story! 😊 But it was cool to see the Chicago River turned green for the Parade. The history of how this tradition began is very interesting and was not always in the best interests of the planet, but these days it’s most definitely achieved with an environmentally friendly dye, thankfully!
So, naturally, we’re looking at all things green this week (because we don’t want to be different from all other retailers…). I really love green, and I firmly believe there’s a green for everyone out there as there are so many different shades and tones available. It’s just important to find the one to suit your skintone.

This also gives me the opportunity to introduce our ‘new kid on the block’, the very fabulous Danish brand, Ciso.
They are part of the same group as Signature, a brand we used to stock, but they only went up to a 22. Ciso on the other hand, goes up to a 30 so that’s great news. There’s more coming in soon but here’s a little taster (that happens to fit my theme for this week 😊).
