Easter Treats!
It’s looking like a lovely Bank Holiday weekend ahead for all of us, hurrah! Time to enjoy everything Easter has to offer; chocolate, hot cross buns, daffs, bunnies, chicks and bonnets (and maybe a bit of Ted Lasso too… or is that just me?)!
It’s also a good time to really think about your Summer wardrobe. While it might be hard to think about the heat when it’s been so grim outside, it’s definitely heating up so don’t leave it too late to get the pieces you can’t live without for the coming months.
One of our top Summer sellers is the delectable Doris Streich
Along with some light and lovely linens (be warned, the Doris Streich linen tunics always disappear fast), we’ve also got some funky sparkly crop jeans and crop leggings which are a very useful addition to your wardrobe to wear with the shorter dresses (or long tunics) in the Summer months.
Have a look at all the beautiful Doris Streich we have to offer you so far this season
Check out all new in pieces for Spring
We had a very manic photo shoot last Friday…
…and the new pics will be making their debut on the website just as soon as I can get them on so keep your eyes peeled. It’s on the shop floor already and there’s so much to see, so come on down to see it all in person if you can.
It’s all very bright and cheerful that’s for sure!
Make an appointment to come and see us or place an order online and we will get your goodies out to you as soon as we can. We do our very best to send things on the day the order is placed but it’s not always possible.
Stay safe and well ladies
Whatever you’re celebrating this week, have fun and enjoy the promised sunshine! Happy Easter; Happy Passover; Happy shopping!
Congratulations to our March prize draw winner, Lucy E from New Malden! £100 of vouchers are on their way to you.

A few fun facts about Easter
The tradition of painting eggs originates from Ukraine
For countless generations, Ukrainians have been decorating eggs as a calling out to the Gods and Goddesses of health and fertility. The custom (called pysanka) took off when Ukrainian immigrants came to the US.
The UK’s first chocolate egg was produced in Bristol in 1873
It was during the 19th century that the Fry family of Bristol ran the largest chocolate factory in the world and produced the first chocolate egg, in 1873. Two years later, in 1875, saw Cadbury’s make their first Easter egg.
The most expensive Easter egg was sold for £9 million
Possibly the world’s most expensive egg was sold at Christie’s in London for £9 million, breaking Fabergé records. Made by Karl Fabergé in St Petersburg in 1902, it’s the second-largest egg ever made by Fabergé.
In Germany it’s illegal to dance on Good Friday
Who knew?! It’s illegal to dance in public in the majority of states in Germany as a mark of respect for Christianity. Even Europe’s clubbing capital, Berlin, becomes a dance-free zone out of respect for the religious day. In Bavaria, if you are caught playing music of any kind in a bar, you could be fined up to 10,000 euros.
